Honouring a valued member, sailor, office bearer and life member of SAPTCA.
A life well lived
The journey’s end is not too high a price to pay for having truly lived.
I have lived a life of open water and steady winds, of sails pulled tight on a salty sea, of long roads travelled with my love beside me, with distant horizons calling me free — and happy hour drinks by the caravan, just where I’m meant to be.
To have walked the beaches, to have felt the sun on my skin and the wind on my face, to have known the salty sea, to have held the hands of those I love — these are the moments that made my life rich.
And when the sails are finally lowered, the roads travelled and the miles complete, the last words on my lips will be — Thank you.
His contribution to SAPTCA
Bob gave generously to the association through his leadership, service and friendship, holding the roles of President, Secretary and Treasurer, and later being recognised as a Life Member.
